Water & Sewer Rate Information 1/012021:

Water=$20.50 base plus $7.25/1,000

Sewer= $19.00 plus $3.00/1,000

City billings are sent out around the 10th of each month.

Vacant properties must either continue to pay the monthly minimum for water and sewer or sign a request for service reinstatement at $200.00 with no minimum charges.

Please contact the City Clerk’s office if you would like to make arrangements for your monthly utility billing to be automatically withdrawn from your checking/savings account. The City is also able to accept debit and credit cards for City billings.

Careful What You Flush!

Your toilet is NOT a trash can! There are only a few things you should flush – and you know what they are! Residents are reminded to PLEASE NEVER FLUSH the following types of items: diapers, cosmetics, batteries, medications, feminine hygiene products, paper towels, tissues, cigarette butts, band aids, cat litter, dental floss, (once flushed, it wraps itself around other objects, making tiny clogs bigger quick), clothing items, oil, grease, rags, cleaning/disinfectant wipes, deodorizers, etc. Flushing these things can be harmful to your plumbing, the environment, or our water supply! In addition, these items don’t break down, and therefore clog the lift stations which in turn can cause sewer back-ups! The repairs and maintenance for this are very costly. Please properly dispose of these items! Thank you!
